Deleting a post on X does not remove the copies other services already made of it. This site tells you who those services are, gives you the link to check each one yourself, and writes the removal request for you to send.

Guidance and filing text, not an inventory
X shut off the free public data access that third-party mirrors ran on, so there is no live index of everything a handle ever posted for anyone to search, including us. That is why this tool does not offer to look. It would have to guess, and a guess about what is public about you is worse than no answer.
Three steps, and you take every one of them yourself
- Delete at the source first. For X this does more of the work than people expect, and the order matters. We explain why, and what to do before deleting rather than after.
- Check each holder yourself. For every service that might hold a copy, we build the link that answers it and you click it. The answer goes to your browser and never passes through this server.
- Send the requests. We write the removal request for each service, in the order that works, with the address to send it to. You read it, decide, and send it yourself. This site never submits anything on anyone's behalf.
There is no fourth step. The Reddit side can scan again afterward and show you what changed; this side never scanned in the first place, so it has nothing honest to compare against.
The limits, before you spend any time here
- We cannot tell you whether a service holds anything of yours. We hand you the link and you look. Every service is listed for everyone, because we have no way to know which ones apply to you.
- Some holders have no working removal route. Three of the services we will list publish no dependable process. They will be listed anyway, marked as what they are, so nobody spends an evening hunting for a form that does not exist.
- We cannot make anyone act. This tool prepares requests. A person at each service decides, and may decline.
Reddit works differently: independent archives there can be asked directly what they hold under an account, so that side of MediaWipeTool can scan, report per archive, and check again after you file. It is a separate service with a separate account, and it is the same people and the same brand.
